Hello,
You really not to worry about old sourceguardian installation. Your script will work properly. Once your script is correctly installed with correct license infromation. You'll get a key.php file via email ( GeN3 script only), and you'll have to upload key.php file in your root directory.

Let us know if you need any further support. Please email me at wajdan@regencyhost.com for fast support response even if you're not our client.

After following your procedure now I have this message when running howto-install.php:

How to install SourceGuardian loaders
Old SourceGuardian loader is already installed, you need to upgrade it to latest version.

Additionally I do not understand if there are two licenses, one in key.php and the other that must be provided at the /install/index.php

Thanks

@ Aneslin -- > If you want to buy a vps from a hosting company, you will get your desired os installed. Like, we provide vps with preinstalled 32 different os templates, you can switch to any at any moment. Configuration, most of companies do it for free. ( Some companies offer management services with their products ).
